“A Bouquet or Seeds?”

“A Bouquet or Seeds?”

Seeds require a lot of work to see the results (prepare soil, plant seeds, water them, get rid of weeds etc).  A bouquet (cut flowers) – no matter how beautiful they might be – can’t multiply themselves.  They will wither and die.  But seeds – when looked after – can grow many flowers with beautiful blossoms.

What does God call us to be?  A bouquet or seeds?

The sermon will show how Jesus – through his “new commandment” – calls us to be people sowing the seeds of love.  Love in action.  It’s a powerful witness to the un-churched about the love of God.

John 13:34-35
