A message of hope for runners

A message of hope for runners

John 20:19-31

“He/she has done a runner”. It’s an Aussie expression which means that a person has run away from something they’ve done wrong, something they don’t want to face.

The message will focus on the disciples who did a runner in Gethsemane when the soldiers came to arrest Jesus. What did they do? Where did they go? We don’t know. But we do know that – one by one – they all came back to the upper room.

Then Jesus appears to these runners in that room? And his reaction/response to their running? Grace and forgiveness!!
