Ordinary Bloke

Ordinary Bloke

There’s quite an irony in that, really. In the early years of Christianity the big challenge was to convince people that Mary’s son, the carpenter from the ordinary town of Nazareth, the one who died like all people do, but who died like a criminal, was in fact the promised Messiah and God in human form. Two thousand years later, the challenge is now to convince Christians that Jesus was a true human being, an ordinary bloke, like you and me.
