The Big Relief

The Big Relief

Lenten Sermon Series

The world is a pressure cooker. We crave relief from the treadmill of demands that only speeds up. We crave relief from regret, rejection & grief that never go away. What we ultimately need is grace. The grace of God represents an alternative to all of the ways we try to find relief on our own. Grace is The Big Relief at the heart of the Christian faith – one-way love with no strings attached. It's real relief to the weary and worn-out among us.

Lenten Evening Prayer

Lenten Evening Prayer

Wednesdays 7pm

Join us for a serene Evening Prayer service at Prince of Peace Church.

Escape the hustle and bustle of the day and find a moment of tranquility in our beautiful candlelight service. This is a time for quiet reflection, spiritual nourishment, and the sharing of Holy Communion. We are using the moving service order from "Unfailing Light," led by the harmonious blend of piano, violin, and cello. The music will guide us through a journey of peace and contemplation.

What to Expect:

  • Candlelight Atmosphere: Immerse yourself in the warm and calming glow of candlelight, creating a space for peace.
  • Musical Reflection: Experience the power of music with our talented musicians, bringing the service to life with piano, violin, and cello.
  • Holy Communion: Participate in the sacred act of Holy Communion.
  • A Message for Lent: Hear a thoughtful message from Pastor Nick.

Come and experience a moment of peace and reflection at Prince of Peace Church. We look forward to welcoming you.

Refresh (F5)

Refresh (F5)

Friday 20 March

Busy families desperately need chances to slow down and connect. That’s the idea behind “Refresh” – a casual, interactive worship time designed to help families unwind after a full-on week of work and school. Refresh is built on “F5” (named after the key you press to refresh your computer): Family, Friends, Faith, Fun, and Food. (It's also a good way to remember it happens Friday at 5pm.) We’ll gather for music, some activities, and then serve a family-style meal. It’s a great way to start your weekend!

Please RSVP at the link below, and if you'd like to volunteer to help out, click here.

Hearts of Hope - March 2026

Hearts of Hope - March 2026

Everton Park Community Pantry Food Drive

Several times a year, we invite our Prince of Peace families to share a special offering for a cause or organisation in our community. For the month of March, we're changing it up a bit and asking for donations of supplies (rather than funds) to support the Everton Park Community Pantry.

Located just around the corner from the church on South Pine Road, the pantry provides free food and supplies for families in the neighbourhood who may have hidden needs or are just struggling with the cost of living.

You can drop donations in the white box under the TV screen in the church foyer at your convenience, and we'll deliver collections to the pantry weekly through the month.
