All volunteers are invited to our Volunteer Appreciation Morning Tea tomorrow from 10am. In addition to the food and social time, we'll give a presentation on how to manage your volunteering in the new Church Center app.

This Sunday, 8 February, we will have an installation service for Coreta Lennon as Head of Campus (Middle & Senior), as well as an affirmation for all College staff. [Prince of Peace Church members do not need to RSVP as noted in the invitation.] Please join us!

GROW is our fresh approach to meet the dynamic challenges of faith formation in young people. Traditionally called confirmation, GROW puts the whole family at the core, rather than just the student. The goal remains the same: to grow in the concepts and language that fosters faith and trust in God in a post church world.
- 2nd & 4th Sundays from 5-6pm
- Group teaching and table discussion of the topic of the night
- Worship setting with songs and Holy Communion

The Prince of Peace Care Team would like to welcome anyone who has experienced loss or grief to join us for a morning tea on Wednesday, 11 February from 10 AM. This is part of our church's desire to reach out and support both the tangible and spiritual needs of others in our community.

As we enter the season of Lent, we invite you to join us for a meaningful Ash Wednesday service. This sacred tradition marks the beginning of a spiritual journey towards Easter, offering a time for reflection, repentance, and renewal.

Our Ash Wednesday services will include the Imposition of Ashes, a meaningful ritual where ashes are applied to the forehead in the shape of a cross. This symbolizes our human frailty and imperfections while also reminding us of the forgiveness and hope found in the cross of Jesus.

Come and be part of this sacred tradition as we journey together through Lent. We hope to see you there!

Youth and adults (ages 10+) who are interested in taking Holy Communion for the first time are invited to our six-week preparation class. This hybrid program involves four at-home lessons and two in-person meetings, leading up to the first Communion celebration on Palm Sunday, 29 March.

Community members are welcome to join Prince of Peace Lutheran Church & College, along with the Golden Valley Keperra Lions Club, at Cabbage Tree Creek Reserve for a cleanup from 10am on Sunday 1 March. Volunteers can enjoy a sausage sizzle as we clear rubbish from along the creek. Please register by 25 Feb for catering purposes.
